HMB (hydroxy methyl butyrate) is a bioactive substance with an action similar to that of vitamins, found naturally in small quantities in food and produced in the human body
HMB is produced in the body as a protective substance alleviating the effects of stress associated with physical effort, fasting, febrile diseases, body traumas, and excessive generation of oxygen free radicals
HMB limits the decomposition of body proteins, potentiates fat burning, lowers cholesterol levels, and supports the immune system
The requirement for HMB increases exponentially in conditions of increased physical activity – its supplementation leads to a significant improvement of physical exercise capacity
HMB is recommended dosage:
